David is a specialist in Business Valuations and Mergers & Acquisitions for SME’s that include a vast range of industries and a diverse client base of Business Owners, Accountants, Lawyers and Corporations.
David is a Registered Business Valuer (RBV) with the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB) which is the National body that administers education, disciplinary procedures and the code of ethics for Business Brokers and Registered Business Valuers.
Since 2004 David has been directly involved in the valuation and sale of hundreds of businesses; his knowledge and understanding of a comprehensive range of industries and businesses is exceptional and his advice and consultation is often sought after by many accountants, lawyers and business owners.
All of David’s valuation reports are prepared to International standards using at least two methods of valuation as well as complying with the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board standard APES 215 Forensic Accounting Services and APES 225 Valuation Services and the AIBB code of conduct applying to Registered Business Valuers. David is a member of the REIQ, AIBB and the AIBB Valuers Chapter.
Furthermore David has access to recent business sales data and valuations relating to a large range of businesses from all over Australia and New Zealand through his network of AIBB Registered Business Valuers.
David prepares valuation reports for many purposes including buyers wanting to ascertain fair market value of a business, sellers wanting to know the fair market value prior to putting their business on the market, partnership disagreements and share buyouts, legal disputes, calculation of stamp duty, and capital gains tax as well as for banks and financial institutions for finance. David also has a very good understanding of the Family Law Rules 2005 in relation to business valuations and in particular Divisions 15.5.4. 15.5.5 and 15.5.6 in relation to instructions and disclosure of expert’s reports and duties. All valuation reports are strictly confidential and prepared solely for the client.
