Greg joined the South African based property sales, development and management company E.G. Chapman in 1982. He was involved in all facets of the property industry, specializing in major property development initiatives. In 1994 has was appointed CEO of the Group.

From 1994 be became involved in the following business initiatives:-
- Establishment of a financial services group
- The development of an Eco tourist hotel group specializing in game lodges
- International property development including site assembly, and re-zoning and sale
of a large tract of land in California, USA.
- Development of BMW, Ford, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini, Honda and Peugeot
motor dealerships. This included site assembly, rezoning, finance, leasing and sales
thereof.
- Assembly of commercial investment properties ultimately listed on Johannesburg
Stock Exchange
- Assembly of blue chip private companies forming an Investment Holding Company
listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

In December 2003, Greg and his family relocated to Australia
